MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in Sweet Experience
We’re loyal MAC users and especially love their colourful, bold shades, so it was quite the departure from the norm when we decided to try out the MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in Sweet Experience. This soft pink shade looks beautiful on darker skin tones and did tend to wash out the paler girls in the office. The one thing we all had in common, however, is that we loved the subtle scent and moisturising effect it had on our lips. This gets a thumbs up from us!

Sensai Rouge Intense Long Lasting Colour
If you love pink lipstick then this one’s for you! We tried the Momo Kasane shade, a delicate rose pink hue that has a slight shimmer to it. The chic packaging is a definite winner for us and caught our eye. Application is smooth and the lipstick is long lasting, what more could you want from a lipstick?

MAC Lustre Lipstick in Fleur d’Coral
This is one timeless shade of lipstick! The pastel coral colour is subtle without being understated. We’re big fans of the creamy texture that glides on effortlessly and nourishes your lips. The MAC Lustre Lipstick has a mouth-watering array of shades to suit any skin tone or personality, and gets our vote as a worthwhile purchase.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick.
We’ve always believed that Rimmel is one of the more affordable lipsticks out there. The minute we saw the Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick in 360 As You Want Victoria, we were sold on its pink hue. Even our Campaign Manager, Marelieze, who’s a ravishing red head, wore this colour with ease. This is one lipstick that lasts, even after multiple phone calls, coffees and chit chat in the office. It’s also packed full of lip loving Vitamins A and E, which moisturise and protect lips. If you are looking for an affordable lippie to spruce up a summer outfit, this is the one!

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Moisturising Lipstick in Electric Pink.
All we can say is WOW! On first glance we fell in love with the glamorous gold packaging shaped like the iconic Elizabeth Arden Red Door. The hot pink shade is the perfect fuschia, especially for Summer, but that won’t stop us from wearing it in all seasons! Its long lasting formula really did stay put for close to 12 hours, without dehydrating our lips like other lipsticks tend to do. The lipstick is meant to increase lip plumpness and firmness and as yet we haven’t noticed too much of difference, but will definitely let you know if we do! With almost 20 shades to choose from, you are sure to fall for at least one of these sensational lipsticks!
Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Moisturising Lipsticks (from R210) are available from selected Elizabeth Arden counters at Edgars Red Square, Foschini and Truworths Elements stores as well as selected pharmacies nationwide. For more reviews on this lipstick, click here.
